Choosing Your Impression Style
By default, Presto generates an impression on every merge. If you’d rather have a shorter impression, an indication-driven one, or none at all — for example because you use Rad AI Omni or another automated impression tool — you can change this yourself in Presto’s settings.
Step 1: Sign in to Presto
Section titled “Step 1: Sign in to Presto”Go to app.presto.run. If you’re not signed in, enter your email and follow the login steps.
Step 2: Open Settings
Section titled “Step 2: Open Settings”Open the left navigation drawer, then go to Personal → Settings (/settings/preferences/).
Step 3: Choose an Impression Style
Section titled “Step 3: Choose an Impression Style”Find the Impression Style field and pick one of four options:
| Option | What Presto does |
|---|---|
| Presto Default | Generates a full impression with synthesis, prioritization, and formatting. This is the default. |
| Indication-Aware | Same as Presto Default, plus framing driven by the study indication, pertinent negatives, and stricter filtering of incidental findings. |
| Brief | Generates a concise one-to-two-line impression. Suited to urgent and stat reads. |
| None - no Impression generated by Presto | Presto leaves the impression field completely alone — it neither generates nor modifies it. |
Step 4: Save
Section titled “Step 4: Save”Click Save Preferences. A green Preferences saved successfully! banner confirms the change, which takes effect on your next merge.
